NETWORK CONSULTANT / NETWORK SPECIALIST

(Ref. No.: ESD/NC/2010/12)

 

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in all aspects of pre-sales support such as proposal preparation, solution design and demonstration

  • Provide consultation to Sales team on building up network solution

  • Maintain updated network documentation on solutions, procedures and provisioning issues

  • Solve network problems; manage and implement network projects  

Requirements:

  • University degree or diploma in computer science, data communication, electronics or electrical engineering or related disciplines

  • 5 years' experience in networking

  • CCNA, Cisco professionals in the specialisation roles of Unify Communication, Security or Wireless LAN, or Microsoft Messaging is advantageous

  • Experience in using systematic project management methodology such as PRINCE and PMP is preferred

  • In-depth knowledge and solid hands-on experience in LAN & WAN networking technology of the following platforms:   

    • Voice and Data integration

    • Application develop for wireless solution portal and XML programming   

    • Network systems for banking and finance institutions   

    • Firewall, IDS and Network Management  

    • Cisco call manager solution design, deployment and messaging integration   

    • Security & Wireless Network assessments

  • Must be an independent problem solver, self-driven and possess leadership skills

  • Candidates with less experience and qualification will be considered for the post of Network Specialist  


ANALYST PROGRAMMER / SENIOR PROGRAMMER

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze user requirements and conduct impact analysis

  • Develop programs by using Java

  • Conduct program testing and system integration tests

  • Support user acceptance tests

  • Prepare system documentation 

Requirements:

  • University degree / higher diploma in information technology or computer science or related disciplines

  • Minimum 2 years' solid experience in using Java

  • Proficient in Tomcat/Jboss administration and configuration

  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese

  • Candidates with less experience will be considered for the post of Senior Programmer 


ACCOUNT MANAGER(S)

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and manage sales activities and business portfolio in achieving sales targets as well as the company objectives

  • Manage product / service mix, pricing and margins

  • Promote Human Resources Management (HRM) application solutions and services

  • Partner with other internal business units and 3rd party product / service vendors to formulate value propositions in response to customers' needs and prospect requirements for achieving measurable results

  • Monitor and prepare reports regarding market intelligence for management's review

Requirements:

  • University degree in computer science, information technology, human resources management, business administration, or other related disciplines

  • Minimum 4 years' solid direct sales experience in IT industry, of which at least 2 years' in selling of human resources management (HRM) solutions

  • Knowledge on Business Process Outsourcing and IT Outsourcing services will be an advantage

  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills

  • Aggressive with proven sales record in IT solutions

  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
